Boost Mobile faced a challenge: while promotions attracted new subscribers, there was little to keep them engaged over time.
The project began by understanding user motivations. Research showed that most users were focused on saving points toward a free phone and were less interested in alternative rewards, but frequent early earning opportunities were key to maintaining engagement.
Design efforts included wireframes and high-fidelity, component-based prototypes, refined through iterative usability testing to ensure clarity, scalability, and accessibility.
The result was a structured, points-based ecosystem that aligned with user motivations, increased app engagement, drove higher customer lifetime value, and supported sustained growth through retention and referrals.
